Bouquet Care Tips
We organize and then hand tie lovely stems of seasonal blooms, bits and greens, then wrapping them before dispatching them off to you or your recipient! To help you keep your bouquet looking its finest, we have included some of our top suggestions and ways for caring for your beautiful bouquet!
Our flowers traveled a long way to get to you! After their journey they are definitely feeling a little dehydrated - give them a drink stat! Fill a container with cool tap water and pop the bouquet in (after you’ve trimmed the stems of course)! Change the water daily or as often as you can possibly. If possible, put it in your balcony and place it on your outdoor furniture. This helps to reduce the growth of bacteria in the water which will help you to get more bloom life from your bouquet.
Help your flowers live their finest life and keep them out of direct sunlight and excessive heat. Unlike in the outdoors, cut flowers do not love sunshine or heat. In fact, both can significantly shorten their lifespan.
Last, it is important to remember that with a mixed arrangement different flowers will have longer blooming life than others. Take care to remove the blooms that begin to wilt before the others! Just like changing the water, this will help to prevent excessive bacteria build up and extend the life of the rest of the flowers in the arrangement.
